How To Reach Wild Orchid Trail
We are about 510 kms from Delhi. Guests can reach us by their own cars/SUVs or they can take overnight Volvo Bus Service from Delhi. They can reach Mandi or Bir as per their comfort and we can arrange to pick them up from there on chargeable basis. We have two airports nearby namely Bhuntar Airport and Gaggal Airport. It's a nice 3hrs mesmerising drive from airports to our place. One can opt for taxi or ask us for pickup from airport on chargeable basis.

Paragliding Capital
World Famous Bir – Billing
The second highest Paragliding sight is 7 KM as the crow flies west of Wild Orchid Trail Cottages. We are situated on the same ridge as of Billing. This place is a paradise for paragliders as hot air comes up from the valley and takes them up. They can stay there as per their flying strength and technique. Wind speed is normally high here with high chill.
We are about two hrs away from Mandi and one and a half hours from Bir. In both the cases guests must drive uphill from Ghatasini and then further uphill from village Jhatingri. Guest will love to drive on terrain from Jhatingri village to Wild Orchid Trail Cottages.
Phuladhar happen to be a photographer paradise with the magnificent view of the mighty Dhuladhar and awesome sunset every evening. Art lovers would be tempted to capture the magnificent views on their canvas so don't forget to get your Brushes, paints and canvas along. Phuladhar — a nurturing place for spiritual seekers, calmness flows within just a breath. Artists, poets, writers, and peace lovers loves this place for its calmness and energy.

Weather in Phuladhar happens to be very pleasant in summers with slight chill in the evenings. Sun shines here for all the goodness of mankind and nights are quite windy and slight chilling. Maximum temperature during summers vary around 25 degree Celsius and minimum around 12 degree Celsius. Daytime it's quite breezy.
Monsoon rain is a blissful experience here. Sitting in the lobby and watching rains with mighty Dhauladhar range is quite blissful and mesmerising. During rainy season you will enjoy wonderful light and sound show created by nature.
